Policies and Disclaimers

I occasionally use affiliate links in my blog posts.  You might see them within my postings, reviews, recommendations, items I currently, have and in other sections.  I need to disclose when I use an affiliate link by law, so if there are affiliate links, there should be a disclosure such as this:     

“I share things I love with all of you.  If you happen to buy, I will make a small commission.”

“If you buy any of the products I share, you keep my cup filled with coffee.”

What is an Affiliate Link?  It is a link that directs you to either a general page (think Amazon home page) or to a specific website on their page (think individual items on the Amazon website).   When you make a purchase via that link, I get a small commission at no extra cost to you.   I spend lots of time prepping and writing my posts and reviews but it's a difficult niche to make money from.  This helps to keep my coffee cup full and my energy levels up so I can keep providing you the content you are wanting to read about.

 All my reviews are honest and my opinions are my own. I reserve my right to share the full extent of my opinion, including, but not limited to, low-ratings, criticism and call-outs where needed.  If you have a gadget, tool, hack, or recipe you wish for me to test and review, please go to the contact page and submit a request (or, better, send an email directly to Jess@BeingJessThanPerfect)  using "recipe request" as your subject line.  If you submit a receipt and it is not your own, please site your source to ensure proper credit is given to the original writer.  I do my best to review timely  any recipes I agree to test and review.  Due sheerly to the amount of requests, I cannot accommodate all of them.  

I am not contractually obliged to review any submissions and my opinions will be expressed honestly (in other words, if I don't care for something, I will provide truthful feedback on anything I don't like).

I do not share personal information with third-parties nor do I store information I collect about your visit to this blog for use other than to analyze content performance through the use of cookies, which you can turn off anytime by modifying your browser.
